Delta 8 tetrahydrocannabinol is referred to as Δ8THC, this isomer naturally occurs within the cannabis plants and is referred to as a cannabinoid.  THC is the prime psychoactive component of cannabis. How is it formed?

 

Delta 8 THC is derived from the hemp stevia-L plant. A part of it converts to isomer and has a similar molecular structure. This is known as Delta 8 THC. In short, it is referred to as Δ8THC.
